Trim the stems
For flowers in a vase, cut the stems at an angle and remove about 2–3 cm from the bottom every 2–3 days.
Keep flowers hydrated
For vase arrangements, change the water every 2–3 days. For arrangements using floral foam, add a small amount of clean water directly onto the foam daily to keep it moist.
Flower food
Flower food is provided with our bouquets. For floral foam arrangements, the foam has already been prepared with flower food, so no additional flower food is needed.
Keep them cool
Place your flowers in a cool spot, away from direct sunlight, heat, air conditioners and draughts. Flowers last best between 18–22°C.
Remove wilted blooms
Remove any dying flowers and leaves to help keep the remaining flowers fresh.
Keep away from fruit
Avoid placing flowers near fruit, as ripening fruit can cause flowers to wilt faster.
We offer doorstep delivery across selected areas of Durban. Delivery fees are based on the distance from our Chatsworth hub.
